Auditions for Center Theatre children’s productions on Dec. 7 and 9

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre and the Slightly Off-Center Players announce auditions for their children’s productions of “Peter Pan, Jr.” and “Pirates of Penzance, Jr.”
    Auditions will be held at the Center Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 9 at 6:30  p.m. Both shows will be cast from these auditions.

    Those auditioning will be asked to read, and to sing a short song, such as “Happy Birthday.” Copies of the scripts are available for perusal at the Center Theatre box office.
    There will be a cast meeting and two music rehearsals the week of Dec. 16. Rehearsals will resume on Jan. 6 and will be held 4-5 days per week until opening. Rehearsals will take place on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Not everyone will be called for every rehearsal.
    “Peter Pan, Jr.” runs Feb. 13-15 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 15-16 at 2 p.m.
    “Pirates of Penzance Jr”. runs Feb. 20-22 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 22-23 at 2 p.m.
