Piscataquis Democratic Committee hosting Congressional candidates

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Democratic Committee will sponsor its annual fall brunch on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the American Legion Hall on Park Street. Guests will include candidates for Congress: Emily Cain and Troy Jackson and Senate: Shenna Bellows. Joe Baldacci, Bangor City Councilor, will also attend. The event will serve as a fundraiser for the local Democratic Committee, as well as an opportunity to introduce candidates for Congress to the citizens of Piscataquis County, said Democratic County Chair Dennis Lyford. 

    There is no fee to attend the brunch, but donations will be welcome, Lyford added. The menu will include fruit salad, strata, bacon, home fries, baked beans, cinnamon rolls, juice and coffee. “Please come to enjoy some great Maine cooking and even greater conversations, networking and talk with the candidates,” said Lyford.
