D-F American Legion to host old fashioned bingo

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Friday, the 13, at 6 p.m, the Dover-Foxcroft American Legion will be hosting an old fashioned bingo game as a fundraiser and the public is invited. The Dover-Foxcroft American Legion Hall is located at 121 Park Street.

    “We’re trying to raise money to buy a projector for our Post Home.” said Ed Conroy with the American Legion, “We hope this spooky night brings out all sorts of nice people. We’re calling this ‘old fashioned bingo’ because we will be playing with quarters and you pay anew each game. You can come and go as you like.”
    The bingo night will go until 8 p.m. and will feature cash prizes. If the event is popular, the Legion is considering offering it on a regular basis. For more information please call Conroy at 717-6473.
    The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by the U.S. Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness.
