“The Maine Woods Teen Crew Program provides opportunities for teens of all economic backgrounds” said DeLucia. “Thanks to the help of the Plum Creek Foundation, we can grant scholarships to students statewide so that they can attend this program and gain valuable life skills.”
The AMC property in Maine is located east of Greenville. Over the course of 10 days, participants will work on area projects ranging from building bridges and clearing brush to constructing rock staircases and working on trails. At the end of each work day, students swim, play games and have fun.
