Retired Educators’ raffle

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Piscataquis County Retired Educators held a picnic basket raffle at Homecoming to raise money for the Esther Pennington Piscataquis County Retired Educators Scholarship. 

The scholarship is given to one school from Greenville, Guilford, Milo and Dover-Foxcroft every fourth year in rotation.  A Foxcroft  Academy student received $400 this year.  The raffle raised $272.41 this year and Mel Ames was the lucky winner. The association thanks all who bought tickets to ensure this scholarship will continue to be funded.
