Road race results

    During the Acadia National Park Half-Marathon June 2, Jason Schack, 33 of Greenville Jct., placed 15th in a field of 180 runners. Schack covered the 13.1 miles in 1 hour, 45 minutes and 36 seconds. Also running was Judy Snow, 58 of Dover-Foxcroft, who placed 135th in 2:32.30.

    A group of five from Exeter ran in the 12th annual Bangor YMCA Mile Milk Run on June 8. Barb Underhill, 50 of Exeter, was 111th out of 140 in 12:44. Right behind was Bruce Underhill, 66, of Exeter, in 12:45. Also running was Simon Underhill, 34 of Exeter, 123rd at 13:54; Emma Underhill, 8 of Exeter, 124th at 13:53; and Aliza Underhill, 22 of Exeter, 125th at 13:53.
    At the Race to the Stage 5K June 15 in Bangor Chris Almy, 64, of Charleston, placed 11th in a field of 88 with a time of 24:52. Finishing in 15th place was Amanda Costello, 42 of Milo, at 25:48.
