IN RECORD TIME
With a time of 15.06 seconds, Foxcroft Academy senior Donald Boyer set a new Class C record in the 110 hurdles during the state championship on June 1 in Dover-Foxcroft. Boyer broke the old mark of 15.08 seconds, as his first-place performance helped the Ponies pick up 75 points and claim the first track and field state championship in school history.
Boyer is pictured just before getting to the finish line as he bested, from left, Maranacook’s Sam Nielsen, Central’s Jared St. Peter, Sante Sanchez of Washington Academy and Jake Burns of North Yarmouth Academy — all seniors.
