DOVER-FOXCROFT — The SeDoMoCha Middle School Eagles continued the win streak as the team got the better of the unbeaten Howland to stay undefeated for the season. The Eagles were also victorious on May 6 in two exhibition games vs. the Sebasticook Wildcats.

The Eagles started off the week with an exhibition double header against Sebasticook. In the first game the Eagles did a great job on offense getting 17 runs with combination of hitting and great heads up based running. Jenna Clukey pitched a complete game only allowing three runs by the Wildcats.
In the second game the pitching duties were shared by Abbi Bourget, Kylie Dow and Makenzie Beaudry. All three pitched well and were helped out by great team hitting which led to a 16-5 win over the Wildcats. The rest of the starters in the second games included Hannah Sprecher on first, Mariah Poulin on second, Cailin Seavey on third. Kiara Prescott catching and the outfielders Abby Ewer, Lexi London and Maci Poulin.
The second opponent of the week for the Eagles was the visiting Cougars from Howland. Starting in the infield for the Eagles was Brianna Adkins at first, Becca Anderson at second with Grace Bickford at shortstop, Bourget at third and Kendra Ewer catching. In the outfield was Abbi Bourget in left, Makayla Mccorrison in center and Prescott in right field. Pitching for the Eagles was Clukey who had another excellent outing striking out 10 while only allowing two walks. Mccorrison lead the offensive attack with four hits while the rest of the starters combined for 21 hits.
Coach Anderson made substitutions later in the game putting in Bourget as pitcher. Bourget kept the Cougar offense in check throwing many quality strikes. Clukey was moved to shortstop, Kilee Hutchinson on first, Poulin at second, Hannah Sprecher on third Seavey catching, Cassie Panciera in left, Makenzie Beaudry in center and Sam Higgins in right.
On tap for the week of May 13, the Eagles were scheduled to face the Lakers of Greenville in Greenville on the 14th. On Wednesday, the 15th, the Eagles travel to Dexter to face the Tigers in a makeup exhibition game. On Friday, the 17th, the Eagles host the Pirates from Guilford. The following week, Monday, the 20th, the Eagles travel to Howland for a rematch with the Cougars, and then on Wednesday, the 22nd, the Eagles host Penquis.
