PET ADOPTION

Nyla Larrabee, of Guilford, had a parakeet perched on the top of her head during a Pet Adoption Fair on April 6 at the Dover-Foxcroft Tractor Supply store.

The Bangor Humane Society brought dozens of animals to the event in hopes of matching a pet with a new home. Larrabee and her sister also presented the BHS with a donation. Larrabee and her sister, Mikaila Kennedy, sold jewelry at their mother’s business Lala Creations in Guilford to raise money for the contribution.
