Newborns In Need holds first informational meeting

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The charter members of the Piscataquis County Maine Chapter of Newborns in Need held their first informational meeting at the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church on March 13. The purpose of the meeting was to inform the citizens of the Dover-Foxcroft-area that a new Newborns in Need chapter has been started, to generate interest in the organization, and to discuss the selection of officers before the chapter can move forward.

    HELPING BABIES — Attending the first informational meeting of the county chapter of Newborns in Need was, from left, Debbie Summers, Barbara Glover, Sally Landry and Anne Cress. The organization’s next meeting will be March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church.

    Those in attendance were charter members, Minnie McCormick, Barbara Glover and Anne Cress. Sally Landry and Debbie Summers of Dover-Foxcroft were also in attendance and interested in learning about this worthwhile charity to help those babies who are in crisis or in need.  
    The next meeting will be held at the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church on Wednesday, March 27 at 7 p.m. All those interested in helping babies who are ill or in crisis and their families, please plan to attend this meeting.
