Panciera part of a record USM relay team
NEW YORK — University of Southern Maine sophomore Emily Panciera, a resident of Monson and 2011 graduate of Foxcroft Academy, was part of two relay teams during the ECAC Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championship March 1-2 at the New Balance Track & Field Center.
Panciera and her teammates on the 4×400 relay combined for a time of 3 minutes, 56.58 seconds to place fifth out of 15 squads. The Southern Maine 4×200 relay team, which finished 10th out of 26, set a new school record of 1:44.99.
Southern Maine ended the meet in sixth place out of 50 point scoring teams, tallying a score of 29 points.
