Page earns award for excellence in Chinese

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Chinese Language and Culture Center of Maine has honored Foxcroft Academy junior Landon Page with its Excellent Student in Chinese Learning Award. Page, who has supplemented his work with Foxcroft Academy Chinese instructor Robert Canning by taking classes at the Bangor Chinese School, did not start taking Chinese classes until the spring of his sophomore year.

    He is also very involved with music at Foxcroft Academy, playing in the percussion section of the band and orchestra and runs the school’s hip hop dance club.

    In the previous two years, the award was given to Foxcroft students Alex Clark and Nik Hasenfus.
