DOVER-FOXCROFT — Rachel Mullis, a graduating Girl Scout Ambassador from Dover-Foxcroft has received a Silver Level Girl Scouts of Maine Joanne Crepeau Future Leaders Scholarship for her exemplary efforts within the organization and demonstrated leadership skills.

MILO — This academic year nearly 50 Milo Elementary and Brownville Elementary students have gotten together after school for the BearCats program, an amalgamation of the school’s Bears and Bobcats mascots.

FORT KENT — The University of Maine at Fort Kent graduating seniors received their degrees at the 141st  commencement exercises held at the UMFK’s Sport Center on May 6.

The Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry’s Land Use Planning Commission is studying short-term rental activity in the Commission’s service area and seeking public input on potential regulatory options.
