By Stuart Hedstrom  Staff Writer     DOVER-FOXCROFT — Like two sides of the tasty treat celebrated at the festival, the fifth anniversary of the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival on June 28 nearly doubled the size of Dover-Foxcroft.

A truck-telephone pole accident on the morning of June 18 on West Main Street in Dover-Foxcroft pulled wires down across the road and nearby Sanford Street, knocking out power for over an hour.

A half dozen SeDoMoCha Middle School fifth-graders presented their science journals to the RSU 68 school board during a June 17 meeting.

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Saturday, June 28 a Hooked on Fishing event for youth ages 15 and under will be sponsored by Save-A-Lot, the Maine Whoopie Pie Festival and Hooked on Fishing volunteers.
