This effective program is suitable for members of the community who have arthritis, joint replacements, fibromyalgia, or other neuromuscular complications. Participants are led through a series of warm-water exercises designed to help reduce pain and inflammation and promote increased flexibility and strength.

In an ongoing effort to encourage staff and community health and fitness, Mayo Regional Hospital is sponsoring a day of free skiing for Mayo employees and their families. “Get out and Get Active” is this year’s theme.

Organizers thank event sponsors Will’s Shop ‘n Save and Rowell’s Garage for their generosity in helping bring this event to the community.
6 years ago Adult grief support group meets Feb. 19 in D-F This event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19 in Dover-Foxcroft and is part of Pine Tree Hospice’s adult bereavement support program. The program is open to adults in the community who have experienced grief due to death, whether recently or in the past. The support group, presentation, and nutritious lunch are all free of charge.

6 years ago Mayo Regional Hospital launches system-wide overhaul of its patient record system On Monday, Jan. 14 Mayo Regional Hospital is bringing on-line an integrated health record system that will combine multiple medical records into one record for each patient. The software behind the system, CERNER, is an integrated database of patient health records that provides a comprehensive set of capabilities to electronically store, capture and access patient health information in both the acute and ambulatory care setting.
