Attending were Suzanne Raymond, who is GFWC Miosac club president, GFWC Bylaws Committee member, GFWC New England Region treasurer and GFWC Maine parliamentary advisor; Anne Cress, who is GFWC Miosac Club vice president and GFWC Maine Leadership chairman; Minnie McCormick, who is GFWC Miosac Club publicity chairman; Vicki Moschella, who is GFWC Maine Conservation chairman; and 63 other clubwomen from around the state.

The sessions are taught by the EMCC student nurses Ashley Vincent and Jennifer Cary, and Beth Weatherbee, R.N., B.S.N, M.Ed through the Mayo Regional Hospital Cohort. The sessions are limited to 10 people each and will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1-3:30 p.m.
5 years ago GFWC/Miosac Club holds spring tea The General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC)/Miosac Club met at Thayer Parkway April 16 for a spring tea. President Suzanne Raymond called the meeting to order. Vicki Moschella led the Club Collect, Americans Creed and Pledge of Allegiance. She then introduced Pam Pultz who spoke about "senior dogs." Pultz has these pets and she says the dogs are very good to have for companionship and exercise.

Lunch & Learn is free of charge and includes a nutritious lunch. The program is open to adults in the community who have experienced grief and loss whether recently or in the past.
