Contributed Article  GREENVILLE — The National Wildlife Federation recently acknowledged the Appalachian Mountain Club’s management of wildlife habitat at Gorman Chairback Lodge and Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins and recognized these properties as official Certified Wildlife Habitat sites.

Several athletes from the area took part in the Penobscot Valley Conference Freshman Outdoor Track and Field Championship on June 3 at Hampden Academy.

A number of area athletes were named to the Penobscot Valley Conference Outdoor Track and Field Small School All-Conference Team.
