State police join search for missing Medford woman

MEDFORD — Maine State Police have joined the efforts to locate a 71-year-old Medford woman, who has been missing for over two weeks.

Diana L. Estey of Medford had not been seen since Monday, Oct. 31. However, investigators later said they believed she most likely has been missing from her Medford Center Road residence since sometime on Nov. 2. Estey is not believed to have any memory-related problems and she is known to take frequent walks.

Searches have been conducted by detectives and troopers, deputies from the Piscataquis Sheriff’s Office and Maine Game Wardens, but they were unable to find any sign of Estey. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 95 pounds and has gray hair and green eyes and wears glasses.

Police are continuing to ask the public for help in locating her. Anyone  with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the state police in Bangor at 1-800-432-7381.
