Half dozen from the area take part in Erin’s 5K Run
BANGOR — Six residents from the region were among the 281 runners to take part in the Erin’s 5K Run, to end domestic abuse, on April 27.
Placing 77th was Rickey Jelley, 34, of Charleston, with a time of 27 minutes, 6 seconds. Mary McQueen, 31, of Charleston was right behind with a time of 27:08. Also finishing was Wendy McKenney, 47, of Parkman, 97th at 28:00; Sherree Paradis, 43, of Guilford, 128th at 27:38; Louise Robinson, 43, of Dexter, 176th at 32;40; and Heidi Corkery, 43 of Sangerville, 195th at 34;24.
The Erin’s 5K Run winner was Adam Goode, 29, of Bangor, with a time of 15:56. The women’s winner was Kristina Guerette, 27, of Sidney, who was fourth overall at 18:50.
