Dates set for incoming Foxcroft Academy students
DOVER-FOXCROFT — The following are important upcoming events for eighth-grade students (and their parents) who will be attending Foxcroft Academy next year:
A Class of 2017 Step-Up Night will be on Thursday, May 2 from 6-7:30 p.m. at Foxcroft Academy. Students and parents are invited and strongly encouraged to attend an evening of presentations and discussion about Foxcroft Academy curriculum and requirements. Sample student work, texts, and other items related to curriculum will be available for review. Student-led tours will be offered for those interested.
A Foxcroft Academy student panel Q & A will be held at SeDoMoCha Middle School on Monday, May 6 from 12:45-2:45 p.m. Students from Foxcroft Academy will join SeDoMoCha eighth-graders for a question and answer session. Eighth-graders should bring their burning questions to the session and prepare to learn more about life as a Pony.

STEPPING UP TO FOXCROFT ACADEMY — Several events will help students entering Foxcroft Academy in the fall learn about the secondary school, including Step-Up Night and Day and Q & A. Pictured is the Class of 2016 (current freshmen) on their first day at Foxcroft Academy.
Step-Up Day will be on Thursday, May 30 at Foxcroft Academy. SeDoMoCha and Harmony students will arrive at 8 a.m. and will participate in sessions addressing a variety of topics, including the following: student life at Foxcroft Academy, academic requirements and expectations, counseling services and team building. Lunch will be provided to all students.
