DEXTER — Ridge View Community School (RVCS) held its annual open house on Sept. 1 for grades K-8. RVCS’ open house is a time for parents to meet teachers, view classroom set-ups and know about class expectations. Open house was also a time that parents could gather information on the school’s clubs and organizations.
Staff said the reason that they held open house earlier in the year than usual is because they wanted parents to see open house as more of a meet and greet than a parent teacher conference, which happens to be later in the year. There was a positive turnout with approximately 65 percent of all parents attending.
