Historical society meets Oct. 5

DOVER-FOXCROFT — On Wednesday, Oct. 5 the Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will be holding its final meeting of 2016. The society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Gerrish-Warren Meeting Room at Thayer Parkway located off of Park Street.

 

Historical society member Chris Maas will present an informative talk about the early years at Mayo’s Mill. Many old pictures will be shared along with the history of the mill and the men who founded it. The public is invited to attend.
