Apple Festival Oct. 15

 

SEBEC — The annual Sebec Village Apple Festival will be on Saturday, Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be lots to do, lots to eat and even lots of crafts for sale at the Reading Room in the village.An apple dessert contest will be held and cash prizes will be given; entries need to arrive by 11 a.m. The scarecrow building contest will be at noon and everything needed to create a scarecrow will be provided, but participants are encouraged to provide their own props and clothing. There are cash prizes for this contest as well.Throughout the festival, apple cider will be pressed and available for free as well as a fun assortment of crafts for kids of all ages to enjoy.
