BEST ANTIQUE CAR FLOAT

Photo courtesy of Jana Stewart  The Moosehead Whalers earned the honor for “Best Antique Car Float” in this year’s Greenville Fourth of July parade — which had the theme “Salute Our American Heroes.” Other parade award winners were Most Patriotic, American Legion; Best Business Float, Appalachian Mountain Club; Best Musical Float, Rock ‘n Roll Riders; Best Kids Float, Lakers softball team; Best Themed Entry, Shirley Bog Riders; Best Family Float, Indian Hill/Moosehead Traders; Judges’ Choice, Yacht Club, Moosetrack Family Cottages and Wilderness Sled Dog; and Town Manager’s Choice, Save the Depot.
