Blacksmith Shop Museum open for the season

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Blacksmith Shop Museum, located at 107 Dawes Road, is now open almost every day until October.

Demonstrations will be held again at the Dunham Forge (located next to the museum) on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following days: June 18 with Matt Griffith from Guilford; July 30 with John Calderwood from Etna; and Aug. 20 with Pat Roy from Belfast.

New this year will be a Carver’s Corner and knife sharpening demonstrations. Local artist Bruce Towle has made “cut-outs” so bring a camera. Food and drink will be available.
