Harmony EMT honored

AUGUSTA — Paul Magoon, emergency medical technician of Harmony was among those honored at the annual State EMS Awards May 17 at the Statehouse. He was honored with a Merit Award, for contribution to the EMS system at the local or regional level in one or more areas of service.

As a member of Harmony Ambulance since 1975, Magoon has been continuously responding to EMS calls. He has worn all the hats there are in a service. Magoon has also a member of the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department for over 41 years. He regularly devotes his time to Maine Search and Rescue Dogs, currently with his third dog and has been active with the organization for over 15 years.
