Greenville man accused of possessing child porn

GREENVILLE — Police arrested a local man April 12 on a charge of possessing child pornography.

Chadd Miller, 38, was taken into custody at his home on Lawrence Avenue after investigators received a tip and found 10 videos on his laptop containing sexually explicit material of someone under the age of 12, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland.

Investigators seized the computer, which they suspect contains more images, to be further analyzed at the computer crimes offices in Vassalboro, McCausland said.

Miller was taken to the Piscataquis County Jail in Dover-Foxcroft and released on bail. He is due to appear in court on June 6.
