SeDoMoCha MS mathletes crunch the numbers

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Students on the SeDoMoCha Middle School Math Team participated in the state meet April 7 at Eastern Maine Community College in Bangor. The math team members in grades 5-8 competed against area schools in the Eastern Maine Math League (EMML), including Dexter, Brewer and Orono schools.

GRADE 7 MATH TEAM The SeDoMoCha Middle School grade 7 math team, from left, Annabelle Rhoda, Maddie Taylor, Mimi Camero  and Khrys Downing earned fourth-place honors for all-grade level teams in the Eastern Maine Math League.

 

At this third and final meet of the season, students were presented with awards for their cumulative score over the school year. The following EMML end of the year awards were earned by SeDoMoCha students:

Annabelle Rhoda, first place for grade 7;

Megan Fuller, fourth place for grade 8;

Grade 7 Team One, fourth place for all grade-level teams;

Grade 8 Team One, fourth place for all grade-level teams;

and SeDoMoCha, third place for all EMML school districts.
