On Saturday, March 26 the Piscataquis County Soil and Water Conservation District (PCSWCD) held a very successful and well-attended fruit tree pruning workshop at the Tudor Farm in Dover-Foxcroft. Organic Orchardist CJ Walke of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association was the presenter and he covered the basics of pruning fruit trees for health and vigorous fruit yield.
The workshop attendees enjoyed four hours of hands-on instruction and beautiful weather.
