Ponies receive Big 10 Conference honors

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Several members of the Foxcroft Academy football team were honored after the season by the Big 10 Conference (Class C North).

Senior tackle Tanner Strout was chosen for the First Team Offense, and senior defensive end and senior defensive tackle Connor Holmes were both First Team Defense selections.

Named to the Defensive Second Team was senior defensive tackle Cody Strout, and senior James Smith and junior David Salley were both Big 10 Conference honorable mention picks.

Four Foxcroft seniors were chosen for the All-Academic Team, Nate Church, Abe Simpson, Hunter Smith and James Smith.
