 Bonita Ann Peterson

       SEBEC – Bonita Ann Peterson, 65, died September 18, 2015, at Maine Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born, June 8, 1950, in Bangor, the daughter of Tyler and Julia (Thomas) Stevenson. Bonnie loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also appreciated reading, gardening and feeding her birds.

       Surviving are her husband, Nils Robert Peterson of Sebec; daughter, Joy Keyte and her husband, Shawn of Florida; sons, Matthew Peterson and his wife, Rebekah of Lincoln, and Jonathan Peterson and his wife, Beth of Portland; sisters, Darlene Brooks and her husband, LeRoy of Hermon, Tyra Stevenson of Hermon, and Ellen Sparrow and her husband, Willard of Belfast; grandchildren, Emily Keyte, Ha n n a h Peterson, Maxwell Keyte, Sedona, Alex and Bennett.

       She was predeceased by her parents.

       A private graveside service was held Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Evergreen Cemetery, Hermon, with the Rev. Dr. Rex H. Garrett, Director of Chaplaincy Services at EMMC, officiating.
