– The Living Word Assembly of God presented the summer Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis backpack program with a check to help provide food for area children. This program is based out of the Morton Avenue Municipal Building and backpacks can be picked up each Friday. Pastor Charles Scott presented Deb Somers, representative of the Kiwanis program, with the love offering.

Every month, Living Word Assembly of God takes up a love offering called the Jerusalem Fund, which enables us to help with community projects in the Dover -Foxcroft area. The next outreach will be Family Fun Day at Kiwanis Park on Saturday, Aug. 22 from  11 a.m.-3 p.m. with food, games and the primary purpose to provide area children with school supplies. Several churches and businesses are helping with this outréach to families. Several churches and businesses are helping with this outréach to families.
