New SOCP coordinator

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Thanks to support from the Maine Community Foundation, the Center Theatre proudly announces Teresa Myers as the new Slightly Off-Center Players (SOCP) coordinator.

Myers joined SOCP in 2009, playing the role of Marvalyn in “Almost, Maine” and has been involved with productions ever since. Most recently she played the part of Mme. X in “The Stronger” and found the role challenging and exciting.  She is interested in exploring prop and set production as well as acting in the future.
Myers has a variety of hats that she wears: objects conservator in private practice, farmer, mother and homekeeper, treasurer at the East Sangerville Grange and board member at Maine Archives and Museums.  She is delighted to add “SOCP coordinator” to this motley assortment.
Among Myers’ other duties, she will assist the executive director in improving communications and building a thriving SOCP community. If you would like to congratulate her, or have questions or suggestions about SOCP, you can reach Myers at SOCP@centertheatre.org.
