100th anniversary cookout

MILO — As 2015 and the 100th anniversary of Kiwanis International arrived, thinking caps went on around the world as Kiwanians made plans for each club’s celebration of this memorable event. Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo-Brownville was no exception.

In recognition of the importance of community support, Three Rivers Kiwanis decided to celebrate with the public for their generous support of the many programs benefiting children of its communities as well as this important milestone for the club. Past President and Past Lt. Gov. Eben DeWitt, of the Three Rivers Kiwanis of Milo-Brownville, drew on his experiences with other celebrations in developing with the club the Three Rivers Kiwanis 100th anniversary community cookout.

The public is cordially invited to attend the Three Rivers Kiwanis 100th anniversary community cookout on Saturday, July 18 at Kiwanis Headquarters, 24 Gerrish Road, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The longtime favorite red hot dogs with all the fixings will be served with chips, popcorn, soda and for dessert — anniversary cake.

Three Rivers Kiwanis thanks all for helping them to achieve the success that makes possible celebrations like the community cookout.
