Brett Almasi, 34 of Milo, placed 11th in a field of 251 during the PFBF CPAs Run the Numbers 5K in Oakland on June 20. Almasi ran a time of 19 minutes, 12 seconds.

In the Black Bear 10K on June 21 in Orono, Mariah Arno, 23 of Dover-Foxcroft, came in 13th out of 98 with a time of 52:17. Placing 14th in 52:17 was Kelsey Boss, 22 of Dover-Foxcroft. The Black Bear 10K included Tracy Glidden, 49 of Dexter, who was 34th at 58:26; and Kathleen Dixon-Wallace, 48 of Milo, who placed 36th in a time of 58:31.

The Black Marathon Half-Marathon was won by Rico Portalatin, 44 of Milo. Portalatin’s time of 1:20.27 was the fastest of 223 runners.

Placing 46th was Heather Gudroe, 37 of Dexter, in 1:46.53. In 69th place was Mary Ann McQueen-Jelley, 34 of Charleston, with a time of 1:55.41. Sabrina Sharrow, 23  of Dover-Foxcroft, placed 140th at 2:14.58.
