Historical society meeting June 3

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Do you know what happened 101 years ago in Sarajevo?  The event occurred on June 28, 1914 and it caused the death of millions.  Two shots were fired which would change the world.  

On Wednesday evening, June 3, the public is invited to come to the meeting of the Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society. The meeting will be held at the Gerrish-Warren room at Thayer Parkway, beginning at 7 p.m. Retired University of Maine history professor Dr. John Battick will present a program about the beginnings of World War I.
