Greenhouse celebrates Maine Nursery Day

    BRADFORD — Eager gardeners will browse through the greenhouse flourishing with colorful blooms or take a walk down Lilac Lane on their way to the rose and clematis garden at Country Junction Greenhouse and Gardens in Bradford.
    You’ll receive a tour from one of the grandchildren and have a chance to enter to win a door-prize.

    All this is happening on Maine Greenhouse and Nursery Day – sometimes known as Open Greenhouse Day – on Saturday, May 2 at Country Junction Greenhouse and Gardens, located 1204 Main Rd. in Bradford.
    Country Junction is a family-owned business with a combination of friends and family ready to help bring you the best gardening experience possible.
    “We use nature’s way to build fertility in our soil and to protect our plants from ‘bad bugs.’ We also strive to leave this earth a better place for your grandchildren and ours,” according to the Country Junction staff.
    Whether you’re starting out for the first time or you already have a skilled green thumb, Country Junction can provide you with everything you need to create or revive your garden after a long winter.
    On Maine Greenhouse and Nursery Day, there will be giveaways, tours, door prizes, and more. You will have the opportunity to seek advice and be given the tools you need to jump start your garden with confidence.
    Country Junction is open on Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
    Gardeners are invited to come by anytime during business hours to find inspiration for their garden. It doesn’t matter if your garden is as small as a simple window box or a large one in your backyard; Country Junction will be able to help you with any of your gardening needs.
