On Saturday, March 21, members and youth from the Brownville Community Church, UCC hosted a “Moose Meat Spaghetti Supper” to honor Raymond “Buffy” Butterfield, a proud U.S. Marine who died recently after a long battle with cancer and to benefit the “Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund” located at Quantico, Va. A total of $1,400 was raised with the generous support from the community, JMG youth, Olive Garden Restaurant, Sam’s Club, the Marine Corps League Auxiliary and the Marine Corps League — thank you to everyone involved.
