    MILO — On March 10, Milo Garden Club welcomed Larry Keef from the Milo Ecumenical Food Cupboard. The food cupboard is located in the Park Street United Methodist Church. It is supported by area churches, as well as businesses, schools and individuals through monetary or food donations. Approximately 100 families are assisted by the food cupboard, each week.

    Also, at this meeting, the Milo Garden Club set the date for the annual Summer Fair — Thursday, Aug. 6 at the Milo Elementary School.
    Most garden club meetings are held in the Town Hall Dining Room at 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month from September to June. For more, contact Barbara at 943-5538.
