Mayo on Harvard Pilgrim Honor Roll

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Mayo Regional Hospital has achieved a placement on Harvard Pilgrim’s Hospital Honor Roll for high performance in medical quality, patient satisfaction and patient safety. Eleven Maine hospitals have been named to Harvard Pilgrim’s Hospital Honor Roll.

    The honor roll recognizes those adult, acute care hospitals whose performance was among the top 25 percent of those measured nationally on a set of composite quality and patient experience measures, as reported by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on Hospital Compare and Leapfrog patient safety measures.
    Mayo Regional Hospital is one of the 2014 honorees in Maine for achieving top scores in quality and safety measures.
    Harvard Pilgrim is a New England-based health insurance company that looks to improve the overall quality and safety within healthcare.
    The Mayo Regional Hospital Leadership team is very proud of this accomplishment and their dedicated hospital and medical staff.
