Pony boys take to the water at Class B finale

    ORONO — The Foxcroft Academy boys’ swim team took part in the 2015 Class B championship on Feb. 14 at the University of Maine’s Wallace Pool. The Ponies finished 19th out of 24 teams, scoring 10 points.

    Clay Carroll had a hand in all 10 points for Foxcroft. Carroll finished 14th in the 100 breaststroke, swimming a time of 1 minute, 10.04 seconds. He also came in 16th in the 100 freestyle, with a time of 55.39 seconds.
    The Pony 200 freestyle relay placed 14th at the state meet. Dexter Canning, Tony Tang, Hunter Giacomuzzi and Carroll combined for a time of 2:00.82.
