FA, Dexter cross country teams run at Ellsworth Invitational

ELLSWORTH — The Foxcroft Academy and Dexter Regional High School cross country teams took part in the 2024 Ellsworth Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7.

In the boys’ race, Foxcroft senior Runner Jarrett covered the 3.11-mile course in a time of 18 minutes, 14.55 seconds. Jarrett placed 28th among a field of 86 entrants.

Pony sophomore Pace Jarrett was 33rd in 18:38.15. 

Dexter sophomore Ian Saunders came in 74th with his time of 22:43.78.

Tiger junior Annabelle Peakes placed 29th among 67 girls runners in 23:44.32.

Foxcroft junior Nina Huber was 31st in 23:47.36. Pony sophomore Marion Deitz ran a time of 26:18.81 to come in 54th.

Finishing 60th was Dexter senior Lillian Cooley with her time of 27:43.45.
