What’s the problem with floating camps?

To the Editor;

I just read the article on floating camps. These are not luxury items by any means. It’s an inexpensive way to have a taste most people will never enjoy, a simple way to vacation. From what I’m hearing is that a few wealthy people think that they are privileged and don’t want to share the waters with common people.

Isn’t Maine the vacation land? It just sounds like our government looks for things to regulate. What about e-bikes and outhouses? Are they going to be regulated also?
