Ponies finish sixth at Noble Invitational

    BERWICK — Foxcroft Academy joined some of the top wrestling teams from across Maine and New England at the Noble Invitational during the last days of 2014. The Ponies accumulated 113 points to finish sixth out of over 40 squads.

    Billy Brock had the highest finish for Foxcroft as he reached the consolation finals in the 170-pound division. Brock came in fourth in the weight class, as Abraham Eaton of Class A Gorham High School earned a 13-10 victory in the 170-pound consolation championship match.
    A pair of Ponies came in sixth at the Noble Invitational. Eli Olson was sixth at 126 pounds and placing sixth in the 132-pound class was Conner Johnson.
