Arno named to NAC Fall All-Academic Team

    BANGOR — Husson University junior Mariah Arno, a resident of Dover-Foxcroft and member of the Husson field hockey team, was one of the university’s 12 student-athletes selected to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) 2012 Fall All-Academic Team.

    NAC ALL-ACADEMIC — Husson University junior Mariah Arno, a resident of Dover-Foxcroft and Foxcroft Academy graduate, was named to the North Atlantic Conference Fall All-Academic Team. Arno is a three-year starter on the Husson field hockey team and she is working toward a Masters’ in Occupational Therapy.

    To be honored a student-athlete must have reached junior academic standing, have completed a minimum two years of varsity competition at their institution with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50. Husson’s honorees represent the field hockey, volleyball and women’s cross country and soccer teams.
    Arno, the daughter of Peter and Tracey Arno, is a 2010 graduate of Foxcroft Academy. She is working on completing the course of study to obtain her Masters’ in Occupational Therapy and has maintained a 3.77 GPA.
    Arno has played right wing for the Husson field hockey team since her freshman year.
