Youngblood retires from U.S. Navy
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Letellier of Dover-Foxcroft are proud to announce the retirement of their daughter Katherine “Kat” Youngblood from the U.S. Navy. Youngblood attended Thomas College in Waterville and she is a 1987 graduate of Foxcroft Academy.
Senior Chief Petty Officer Youngblood
Youngblood enlisted in the Navy in 1990 and attained the rank of U.S. Navy senior chief petty officer. She earned her Air Crew and Air Warfare Wings while flying missions over Eastern Europe in the late 1990s and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal at her retirement ceremony at Fort Meade, Md. Youngblood served honorably for 24 years throughout many worldwide assignments and her parents thank her for her service and they are happy to have her home.
