Blacksmith Shop Museum opens this weekend

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Blacksmith Shop Museum, located on Dawes Road, will be opening for the 2024 season on Memorial Day Weekend.

The shop is open nearly every day all summer until fall. If the flag is flying, come in and enjoy the ox lifter, the fly net, and all the tools used by the smithy. During the summer months there will be demonstrations of the trade at the Dunham Forge located next to the museum.
