Keep Medicaid transportation services with Maine organizations
To the Editor;
Waldo Community Action Partners and Penquis Community Action Agency have been the standard bearer for many, many years, and there is no need to farm out their services to an out-of-state contractor, especially since it will remove millions of needed dollars from the Maine economy and into the hands of corporate entities that seemingly will be more concerned with their bottom dollar than the care of our elderly and disabled residents.
How can this possibly make any sense? Where and why is the money going there?
