Staff Report

DEXTER — The School Administrative District 46 Board of Directors meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Ridge View Community School with a rather routine agenda.
The board will be asked to authorize the superintendent to accept two donations to the district: $1,500 from Annie’s Grants for Gardens and $910 from Action for Healthy Kids, Incorporated.

There will also be first reading of a wellness policy and second readings of the support staff/non-instructional employment and hiring and evaluation of coaches’ policies. The Policy Committee has recommended approval of guidelines up for a second reading and the board could vote to approve them at Wednesday night’s meeting

The agreement brings procedures governing budget adoption and distribution of state subsidy into compliance with state law and makes other corrective changes, subject to approval
by the Commissioner of the Maine Department of Education and further subject to approval at
referendum votes in SAD 46 and the towns of Harmony and Athens.
