Soccer all-stars announced

    Ten soccer players, representing all five area high schools, have been named to Maine Soccer Coaches Regional All-State Teams.

    Girls Class C East honorees include Piscataquis Community High School senior midfielder Miriah Pettit and senior forward Alex Speed, and Dexter Regional High School senior forward Michaela White.
    Named to the Girls Class D West squad was Greenville High School senior forward Lindsay Fenn, senior keeper Molly Foley and junior forward Shelby Ward.
    Foxcroft Academy junior midfielder Antonio Ayala and senior midfielder Julian Zepeda both earned Boys Class B East recognition.
    The Boys Class C East team includes Penquis Valley High School senior back Michael Vachon.
    Senior midfielder Trevor Richards of Greenville was chosen for the Boys Class D West squad.
